One of the best things about having a healthy, growing customer base is the feedback we get from our customers when something appears off.

For instance, this month we heard from a customer who had purchased several different databases that we were missing a bunch of different schools — with a list attached.

After investigating each one, we realized that we were indeed missing five different schools.

But our investigation also showed that several other collegiate programs appeared as missing from our databases because they had either moved divisions or had their university name changed.

Here’s the breakdown of the changes we made in April.

  • Carlow has been moved from NAIA to DIII
  • D’Youville’s name has changed from D’Youville College to D’Youville University.
  • Daemen had its name changed from Daemen College to Daemen University.
  • Defiance College has moved from DIII to NAIA
  • Gillette College (a JuCo in Wyoming) has been added.
  • Montcalm Community College has been added. It’s a JuCo in Michigan.
  • Paine College has been removed, as it’s an NCCAA institution.
  • Pellissippi State Community College has been added. It’s a JuCo in Tennessee.
  • Rust College has been added. It’s an NAIA school in Mississippi.
  • Jefferson (PA) has had its name changed to Thomas Jefferson University. Accordingly, Thomas Jefferson University (the JuCo in Missouri) has had its name changed to Jefferson College.
  • Western Iowa Technical Community College has been added. It’s a JuCo in Iowa.
  • Westmont College has been moved from NAIA to DII.
